STAYIN' ALIVE (REZ STYLE)
(SUNG TO THE BEAT OF STAYIN' ALIVE BY THE BEE GEES)
While you can tell by the way I do my dance I’m Eagle Clan.
Stayin alive.
I got a turtle drum, a porky roach, and an eagle fan.
I’m stayin alive.
I live on the rez, you understand, cause some white man done stole my land.
I,I,I,I,stayin alive, stayin alive, I,I,I,I stayin ali-i-i-ive. Wew.
While you can tell by the way I wear my mocs I’m a Indian man,
Stayin alive,
Got a beaded hat, a bolo tie, and a pow wow tan.
I’m stayin alive.
I drive a Indian car and ain’t got no plans, except for looking for the fry bread stand.
I,I,I,I,stayin alive, stayin alive, I,I,I,I stayin ali-i-i-ive. Wew.
While you can tell by the way they say their Indian that they’re wannabees.
Stayin alive.
Great grandma was the last princess of the Cherokee.
I’m stayin alive.
They got Indian names, but they just can’t see, that they live a false identity.
I,I,I,I,stayin alive, stayin alive, I,I,I,I stayin ali-i-i-ive. Wew.
While you tell by the way I live my life I’m on Indian time.
Stayin alive.
My biggest stress is getting to the front of the fry bread line.
I’m stayin alive.
I dig Rock-N-Roll you understand, but nothing beats a drum song man.
I,I,I,I,stayin alive, stayin alive, I,I,I,I stayin ali-i-i-ive. Wew.
